TALLAHASSEE, Fla. --
Authorities say a noise complaint led deputies to a dog fight and three arrests just outside of Tallahassee.
A sheriff's office spokesman says neighbors called to complain about loud music in a vacant lot Saturday night. When deputies arrived, several people ran off, but 23-year-old Lonnie Brantum, 32-year-old Shawn Antonio Washington and 28-year-old Melvin Moore were caught and arrested. They each face dogfighting charges, as well as additional counts for other crimes.
Animal control officials say two pit-bull mixes with bite wounds were confiscated. They believe other dogs were taken when their owners fled the scene.
